Ingredients

For 4 servings

  • 4 ribeye steak
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
  • 2 pear
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • sea salt — to taste
  • black pepper — to taste

Instructions

  1. 1

Season the ribeye steaks with sea salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.

  3. 3

Add the steaks to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust to your preference.

  4. 4

While the steaks are cooking, finely chop fresh thyme and rosemary.

  5. 5

Mix the chopped herbs with unsalted butter until well combined.

  6. 6

Slice the pears into quarters and remove the seeds.

  7. 7

In a separate pan, add honey and heat over medium heat.

  8. 8

Add the pear slices to the honey and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they are glazed.

  9. 9

Once the steaks are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.

  10. 10

Top each steak with a dollop of herb butter allowing it to melt over the meat.

  11. 11

Serve the steaks alongside the honey-glazed pears.
