- 2 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 60 ml water
- 1.5 cup jasmine rice
- 3 cup water
- 1 bell pepper
- 300 g broccoli
- 1 carrot
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onion
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- 1
Drain and press the tofu to remove excess liquid, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
- 2
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the marinade.
- 3
Add tofu cubes to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- 4
Cook the jasmine rice with 3 cups of water in a saucepan, bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes until water is absorbed.

Cut bell pepper and carrot into thin strips, and chop broccoli into florets.

In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water, then add to the skillet to thicken the sauce.
