Ingredients

- 1 cup brown rice
- 1 cup dried lentils
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 2 clove garlic
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste
- 4 cups water
Instructions

Rinse the brown rice and lentils under cold water and drain.

Dice the carrot and onion; mince the garlic cloves.

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3 minutes.
