Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 200 g rolled oat
- 500 g pear
- 2 g ground cinnamon
- 1000 ml unsweetened soy drink
Instructions
- 1
Wash the ripe pears, remove the cores and cut the flesh into small, roughly 1 cm pieces; leave the skin on.
- 2
Put the rolled oats, pear, cinnamon and unsweetened soy drink into a large saucepan. Stir together and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, about 5 minutes.
- 3
Reduce the heat to low and simmer gently for 8–10 minutes, stirring frequently and scraping the bottom, until the oats are creamy and the pear is tender. Avoid a vigorous boil so the porridge does not catch or boil over.
- 4
Remove from the heat and divide evenly among four bowls. Serve warm.
