- 300 g spaghetti
- 1 can canned chickpeas
- 1 can canned diced tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add spaghetti, and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

While the spaghetti is cooking, drain and rinse the chickpeas.

Chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
