- 2 cup water
- 1 carrot
- 2 green onion
- 2 clove garlic
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon olive oil

Rinse the red lentils under cold water and drain.

In a medium saucepan, combine the lentils and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until soft. Drain excess water.
