- 2 cups white rice
- 1 15 oz can canned chickpeas
- 1 onion
- 2 carrot
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste
- 4 cups water

Rinse the rice in a sieve under cold water until the water runs clear.
