Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 500 grams chicken breast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 300 grams fettuccine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste
Instructions
- 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
While the pasta is cooking, cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and black pepper.
- 3
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- 4
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- 5
Stir in heavy cream and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 6
Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- 7
Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add the cooked fettuccine and stir to combine.
- 8
Garnish with chopped parsley and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed before serving.
