Ingredients

For 4 servings

  • 300 g pasta
  • 400 g canned white beans
  • 400 g canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • salt — to taste
  • black pepper — to taste

Instructions

  1. 1

Boil pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

  2. 2

While pasta is cooking, finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.

  3. 3

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cooking until onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

Add canned diced tomatoes along with their juice, and stir in dried oregano and basil. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

  5. 5

Rinse and drain canned white beans, then add them to the tomato mixture. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.

  6. 6

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  7. 7

Combine the cooked pasta with the tomato and bean mixture, stirring well to ensure even coating.

  8. 8

    Serve hot.
