- 400 g canned tomatoes
- 100 g red lentils
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste
- 2 cups water

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions, then drain.
