- 500 g chicken breast
- 150 g plain yogurt
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 0.5 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red onion
- 100 g lettuce
- 100 g cucumber
- 1 tomato
- 4 whole wheat tortilla
Instructions
- 1
Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and set aside.
- 2
In a bowl, mix plain yogurt, crushed garlic, grated ginger, lemon juice, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, turmeric, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- 3
Add chicken strips to the marinade, mix well to coat evenly, and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, thinly slice the red onion, cucumber, and tomato. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken strips and cook for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown.
- 6
Warm the whole wheat tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds.
- 7
To assemble the wraps, place lettuce, cucumber, and tomato slices on each tortilla. Top with cooked chicken tikka and red onion slices.
- 8
Roll up the tortillas tightly to enclose the filling. Serve immediately.
