  • 4 salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

Add salmon fillets to the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes without moving until the skin is crispy.

  4. 4

Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the fillets are just cooked through.

  5. 5

While salmon is cooking, melt unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

  6. 6

Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped fresh dill, and parsley into the melted butter.

  7. 7

Remove salmon from the skillet and plate. Drizzle the lemon herb butter over each fillet before serving.
